Annual Tea & Dance!
Join the Jane Austen Society, Southeastern Virginia Region and the Williamsburg Heritage Dancers for an afternoon of dancing, refreshments, and Austen-themed fun!  Our annual Tea and Dance is held every January to mark, albeit belatedly, Austen's birthday.  Regency/Federal-period attire is encouraged but not required.

Come socialize with your fellow Janeites, no matter what activity you choose!  There is plenty of seating for conversation and consumption of goodies, an area for games (such as the popular Marrying Mr. Darcy!) and of course, dancing.  The dancing is English country dancing, one of the dance styles popular in Austen's time.  All the dances will be accessible for newcomers and taught by the Heritage Dancers' experienced callers.

Stay tuned for information about our 2021 Tea & Dance.
